Being apart of the downtown rejuvenation and development is something that I am very proud of. I have shared a studio and gallery space on 6th ave. in the heart of downtown with Greg Wilson of Paper Guns since January of 2011, we have both had the opportunity to watch the growth in this area and be apart of the tight knit community of local artists & entrepreneurs. 
In April of 2011, Channel 12 came to the newly opened studio and gallery space to do a short story for their D-Town segment which focuses on new developments in the downtown area of Tucson. The 4 minute spot will air on channel 12 twice daily from mid July to mid August. Thank you channel 12!!

Zocalo Tucson is an independently published community magazine showcasing urban news, arts, entertainment, living and events in Downtown and Central Tucson.

In their February 2011 issue, Zocalo did a full page feature on Carly Quinn Designs and the new space on 6th ave. in downtown Tucson. 

Each year local non-profit conservation group Sky Island Alliance hosts their annual awards ceremony and banquet at the base of the Rincon mountains in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. Each year the organization picks a local artist to hand craft each award according to individual accomplishments in the Sky Island region. I have been lucky enough to be the featured artist that makes the awards two years and running for this ceremony. Thank you Sky Island Alliance, it is truly an honor to work with this amazing organization!
